Our Family just returned from an amazing IOH legacy retreat. It was an unbelievable family experience for our family. My husband and I along with our 5 children were were not only treated to an all expense paid Disney vacation but we were given tools to navigate my husband's terminal cancer. I felt like we totally left cancer behind and were met with unconditional love from the first moment we met our volunteers. The staff and volunteers have a selfless commitment to ensuring that not only every need of our family was met but that we also were able to make countless memories and have a great time. I now feel like I am not only in this cancer journey and that I've made friends from the IOH retreat that will support me on the road ahead. Some day I plan to pay it forward and become an IOH volunteer.
