I have been working with Food and Water Watch since 2011 since their Los Angeles organizers educated me on the fact that there was dangerous petroleum infrastructure polluting my community. Since then we have worked hand in hand with an inclusive and strategic approach on a range of environmental and political issues impacting the future of Los Angeles and the planet.

I volunteered with FWW to stop fracking in Los Angeles. As I got to know the local organizers (Alex Nagy & Walker Foley) I saw that this organization was thoughtful, strategic, and organized in a way that builds long-term change.
