Causes: Arts & Culture, Singing & Choral Groups
Mission: The mission of the Master Chorale is to present top-quality concerts of primarily classical works written for chorus and orchestra to audiences in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. To this end, the Master Chorale hires the highest-quality musicians to provide orchestral accompaniment. The Master Chorale also performs with local and visiting orchestras of national and international repute. With rehearsal and administrative operations centrally located in Broward County, the Master Chorale auditions singers, rehearses weekly, and performs major works with orchestra each year. In addition to presenting choral music concerts of the highest musical excellence, the Master Chorale: promotes the art of choral singing; supports composition of new choral works; develops and maintains educational programs in choral music; and fosters in audiences the unity and joy expressed through the common language of music.
Programs: The organization held rehearsals and presented two series of choral concerts with orchestral musician s and soloists in three south florida venues each series. The organization also held rehearsals and hired out to perform three other performances. Each of the organizations musical performances provided wonderful musical experiences for over 4,000 residents of south florida. These performances included orchestral musicians and soloists, renowned for their musical skills.
