Supporting Healing in Arts has been such a personal blessing! Pamela’s art and the events that she organizes touches so many lives on different levels so deeply. The work that she has done with veterans is so touching as the men and women find healing from trauma that they have endured and in the process it’s a joy to see them feel seen.
I cannot say enough amazing things about red jeans redemption. The attention that is brought to the horrible crime of sex trafficking is ever so needed! Many people don’t understand the depth of harm that these adults and children endure. It is so inspiring to see attention brought to this issue and see healing through art.
I love Pamela’s heart and her love for people as seen through all of her projects and workshops!

I find Healing in Arts a blessing for those organizing the projects, those participating in making the art, and me just putting my little grain of sand.
A little over two years ago, I found myself in deep pain for the suffering in the world, feeling hopeless and powerless. I realized that God answered my prayer when I was introduced to HiA. As a supporter, I feel honored to be part of this. It touches my heart to see how, through art, so many lives are changed and wounds healed. Ms. Pamela, with her heart of gold, creativity, and artistic touch, has shown me that creativity and art can lead to healing and freedom with the "Red Jeans Redemption" projects. And this is just one of many projects that continue to reach so many wonderful people.

As a supporter, Healing in Arts provides a unique opportunity for people from all walks of life to find healing through art.
Pamela has done an excellent job creating these opportunities and giving people, (some of them for the first time), a safe way to process trauma and share their stories.

I started out with Healing in Arts years ago, as a friend helping out a friend. This grew into volunteering regularly by helping with materials prep for various projects. Now, as a board member, I am constantly amazed by the level of creativity our founder Pamela brings to the table. Moreover, her heart for the hurting is remarkable. Combining Pamela’s heart with her creativity, results in beautiful interactions with all kinds of people, and stunning collaborative artwork. To witness the beauty and creative expression of participants and the love they are experiencing, is profound. It’s like watching a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis - a sight to behold. The healing power of art is dynamic and quite evident at Heading in Arts workshops and exhibits. This organization though small, has a profound impact in our community and around the world!

I have worked with Healing In Arts in various volunteer opportunities and have witnessed the amazing, heartwarming responses from participants. Most people feel that they are not creative. Healing In Arts gives participants the opportunity to “try” and watching them realize what art is all about is amazing. Don’t we all need someone to tell us “just give it a try!”?

Healing in Arts plays an instrumental role in helping people around the United States. I have always enjoyed the art and messages created by the Healing in Arts team. Recently, I was touched by the thoughtfulness and care when art kits were distributed to families hurt by the recent CA wildfires. This is definitely an organization worth supporting!

As a studio assistant at Healing in Arts, I find it so inspiring being able to reach different communities through the many workshops that offer a chance to facilitate anything the individual is feeling through the art itself. It gives everyone a chance to express their creativity in a way for that person to feel heard and accepted!

As a supporter I have seen how HiA reaches individuals dealing with trauma in such a unique interactive way. Participants that haven’t been able to talk about their challenges for years feel safe opening up and starting the healing process. Pamela has shared so many stories with me of individuals experiencing hope for the first time because of their interactions with HiA projects. I’m so thankful to be a small part of this amazing organization and being able to support Pamela’s love for helping people through art.
