The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation is a great nonprofit organization. The director and board members work diligently to be engaged in their mission. The money this organization raises goes directly to helping the teachers and students of the district to help fund innovative classroom needs and supplies. Investing in a child's education is such a great cause to support!
The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation places the highest value in providing resources and support for all teachers, staff, and students within the district. The foundation's presence is very evident in the Santa Fe community and the commitment to the district is clear in every single event/activity that the it supports.
I have served on the foundation board for over 8 years. I love being able to volunteer in the community I grew up in and support educators and students. As a wife and daughter of an educator I know the true importance of the extra support the foundation offers. It is a privilege to be a part of this foundation and the impact it has.
I have been apart of this organization for a number of years. I enjoy being part of this organization because of the amazing work we do to give back to our SFISD staff and students.

I have been on the Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation Board for a number of years in positions as President Elect, President and Past President. I have loved seeing growth of the foundation over the years and the impact the foundation has had on teachers, students, and staff of Santa Fe ISD. This past year we gave out over $82,000.00 in innovative projects and hope to give out more this coming grant cycle. We have funded projects such as STEM and Robotics and even purchased a Book/STEM bus!!! We love rewarding the outstanding staff of SFISD with our End of Year Excellence Awards. I’ve been working with the SFTEF for two years as the high school librarian. This organization is committed to helping the students of Santa Fe and the educators who teach them. I have won two grants to help support the library, and I am so thankful that such a generous organization exists! Thank you for everything!
The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation supports our local public school district. One of the projects they funded was the Battle of the Books program, lead by the jr. high librarian. The Foundation funded the purchase of tons of new books that students read throughout the year. Then, they competed in a book trivia contest. My son, who had lost interested in reading as he aged, actually read these new books and entered the competition. He has been reading more ever since! I appreciate the work of the Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation because they are putting new, educational equipment and materials in our classrooms that get students excited about learning!

I have been a donor to this Foundation since its inception. I am happy to say that it has grown into a very strong organization that truly helps students and teachers. I have watched it develop many successful programs and activities that help my children and all the children of the Santa Fe Independent School District. This organization has grown so quickly and it is very exciting to see the potential it has for future students and teachers.
