Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Philanthropy, Philanthropy, Charity & Voluntarism Promotion, Public & Societal Benefit
Mission: It is our mission to join with local churches, individuals, and businesses, to provide relief to our community by providing clothing, home goods, food, and even school supplies, for those in the Lake Cities area who have experienced some form of disaster in their lives. As we raise the standard of love and relationship in our community we raise the standard of living in this world.
Results: Each year we host a Back 2 School Fair where we provide grade-specific school supplies to over 500 students within the Lake Dallas ISD. While at the fair children are able to receive free immunizations, sports physicals, eye screenings, and haircuts to get ready for the school year.
Target demographics: Individuals and families who have faced a disaster in their lives and need a hand up.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 700 people with food, clothing, school supplies, and home goods
Geographic areas served: The Lake Cities area of Denton County Texas
Programs: Clothing, Home Goods, School Supplies, and Holiday Food/Gifts for Families with Children
